The Challenge

Today, Gruppo Campari is a major player in the global branded beverage industry, with a portfolio of over 50 premium and super premium brands marketed and distributed in over 190 countries worldwide.

During late 2014 the Campari Group took the decision to own their route to market in the UK by moving their brands away from existing lines of distribution, and into a wholly owned subsidiary. The aim being to build stronger and more effective relationships with both the trade and the consumer in the UK.

The Solution

To ensure the business had a highly effective commercial function, Cesium Group was drafted in to work closely with the business’s CEO and Western Europe HR team and complete a search for a Marketing Director, an On-Trade Sales Director and a number of other key commercial roles.

Cesium Group also provided significant input into the organisational structure so that the structure and workflows drove maximum value for the organisation.

Both pieces of work contributed to success in 2015 and have set the business up for continued growth in 2016.
