With the Jägermeister brand witnessing a staggering on-trade growth (the UK is the third biggest market for the brand worldwide), the main board took the unprecedented decision to invest in its first wholly-owned subsidiary outside of Germany. To set-up in the UK the team set about sourcing critical board roles for this new direct distribution business.

The Solution

Starting with a blank canvas, the incoming CEO invited Cesium Group to partner the fledgling UK subsidiary and deliver two critical UK board appointments, Head of HR and Head of Finance.

Leaving nothing to chance, both were delivered ahead of project timelines in readiness for the migration of the business from existing distribution channels to the new wholly-owned business model.
